Metaphor A to Z

Throat

The throat is the area between the arch of the palate and the glottis, and it contains the pharynx. The throat symbolizes communication. This area contains the chakra that represents power, leadership and our responsiveness to calls for help.

This area represents speaking and swallowing. Problems in this area pertain to something we can’t swallow, something we are afraid to say or fear of our power and leadership.
