Metaphor A to Z
TMJ (Jaw Joint Problems)
TMJ is a pain and dislocation in our jaw joint, which reflects feelings of having to carry everything and living as if we have to do everything on our own, instead of by using grace.
We are feeling negative and angry, and want to prevent ourselves from attacking others verbally. We are writing negative stories in our lives, and we are waiting with clenched teeth for something negative to happen again.
We are unaware that we are the one responsible for writing the story.
TMJ problems are a sign of the pressure and stress that we are under. We are working hard to be careful to prevent something tragic occurring, but cannot escape the feeling that there’s no way out.
We are in a state of apprehension and suppressed anger, feeling inadequate and ‘unhinged,’ threatened by something real or imagined. Our fear can make us vicious either outwardly or inwardly.
