Metaphor A to Z

Shins

The shins are the portion of the foreleg between the knee and ankle called the Tibia.

The shins reflect issues of rejection and power struggle. Problems here represent what it is that opposes us in our life; they indicate that we have received a ‘kick in the shins.’

We’ve been hurt or can’t accept something. We’ve momentarily stepped back and we now have an issue about stepping up and shining in our life.

If our right shin is affected, then the issue is in career or business.

If our left shin is affected, then the issue is with our relationship.
