Salivary Glands
The salivary glands of the oral cavity are responsible for the secretions that form saliva, which aids digestion.
Metaphorically, digestion is about understanding and assimilating life’s unfolding process.
Problems with the salivary glands represent a lack of acceptance and digestion. We have a misperception that is the result of a judgment about the situation.
There may be feelings of guilt about contempt we are feeling in which case we will be holding back from something we want to spit on.
