Metaphor A to Z

Rashes

Rashes are skin eruptions covering an area of the skin. They are almost always red in color. The cause of a rash can vary from a minor skin irritant to an adverse drug reaction or a communicable disease.

Having a rash means that we are feeling as if we were ‘rash’ about something. We took a risk and now we feel that our self-protection is lost or we have over-exposed ourselves due to our rashness.

We don’t feel valuable enough to be so exposed and we are irritated about our vulnerability.

The area of the body that is affected can give us more information about the specific issue involved.
