Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a non-inflammatory, degenerative joint disease caused by disintegration of the cartilage covering the ends of the bone.
Suffering from osteoarthritis shows we are in a state of rigidity and feel that we are losing our emotional and social flexibility. We may resort to attempting to take greater and greater control because of our fear that we are losing it.
Roles that we have lived by in our life, such as sacrifice, are degenerating into the feelings that underlie the role.
Other prevalent feelings might include unworthiness, neediness, failure, inferiority and a concealed feeling that our life is falling apart.
We have been stuck too long in a certain place in our lives. Underlying this is a fear of change; we are hanging on to the way things are.
