Migraine
Migraine headaches are severe headaches that are often accompanied by visual disturbance and gastrointestinal upset.
It shows us that we are in huge resistance to some lesson, awareness or guidance. We are being called on to change and this goes against our ‘grain’ (in British English ‘me grain,’ in American English ‘my grain’).
A migraine is a blockage and a refusal to listen. We have a belief that we are carrying everything on our shoulders.
This is a call for help, while we are pushing help away.
It typically reflects a fear of change, and can also point to a fear of sex, the unconscious or the spiritual.
