Intestines (Bowels)

The intestines are canals that have the function of absorption and secretion of nutrients for the body.

The intestines are symbolic of life and its unfolding process, reflecting our ability to accept and assimilate.

Intestines signify courage, ‘having guts,’ fortitude, perseverance and the deepest levels of intuition and instinctiveness.

Problems with the intestines indicate that we have hit a place of fear about life and its unfolding process. We are having trouble assimilating and integrating our experiences.
