Metaphor A to Z

Headache

A headache is a diffused pain in the head, showing that we have been banging our head against the wall in an attempt to force an issue.

We are trying to go through the wall instead of the gate. We are pressuring or pushing ourselves in an unrealistic way, demanding too much and not pacing ourselves.

We are trying too hard to figure out or decide something, and we are resisting guidance or information that is available to us.
