Metaphor A to Z

Hay Fever

Hay Fever is an allergy characterized by sneezing, runny nose and itchy, watery eyes. It usually affects us in the spring when pollen is in the air.

In springtime, at this time of new birth, there is residual melancholy or sadness stemming from old losses.

This is typically covered over by compensating selves or personalities, all of which were created at a time of lost bonding.

Often this is an ancestral issue, passed down to us through the family. We have a feeling of melancholy and sadness.

We have something suppressed or repressed.
