Gastritis is a general term for inflammation of the stomach. This may be the result of infection, alcohol, bad food, etc.
Gastritis causes stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. Over time, gastritis causes electrolyte imbalances in the body as a result of persistent vomiting.
Having gastritis means that there is something that we ‘can’t stomach;’ something is emotionally indigestible to us and we have suppressed anger about having to examine this issue.
As a result we cannot accept nurturing and we are out of balance in our life.
