Finger - Thumb
The thumbs are the opposable digits of the hand.
Metaphorically the thumbs signify our ability to manipulate, handle things and make things happen; they symbolize what we are called to do or be in the world.
Problems with our thumbs indicate feelings of inadequacy and helplessness.
They show us that we are in conflict about doing something that would move us forward, and the issue might involve manipulation.
If our right thumb is affected then the issue relates to our father, job or career. If our left thumb is affected, the issue is with our mother or our relationships.
