Bruising

A bruise results from some kind of trauma to the skin that causes blood vessels to rupture and bleed into the tissue, causing discoloration.

A bruise is a statement that ‘life has injured me,’ ‘you have hurt me’ or ‘someone has injured me.’ It is a complaint about an emotional bruise from some life situation that is now showing up on a physical level.

The area of the body that is bruised can give us more information about the specific issue involved.
