Truth is one of the great healing principles. It re-establishes true perception, relationship, balance and bonding. Invoking the truth can clear a health issue by ending the deception and self-deception that is part of every problem.
It shows us the way forward that the illness attempts to hide. Our love and desire for the truth can move everything forward, out of the difficulty, complexity and obfuscation that the ego sets up to distract and delay us.
Our desire for truth allows us to let go of our illusions and attachments, surrender our stubbornness, and become aware of a new level of integrity, which allows us to receive.
Through our willingness to embrace the truth, we are able to give up the narcissistic specialness and passive aggression that is part of any illness. The experience of illness and symptoms is not the ultimate truth.
The pain underlying the illness is not the truth, and neither are our hidden, but mistaken, goals. Truth brings clarity and leads us in the direction of good health and freedom from the symptoms of the illness.
