Metaphor A to Z

Hips

The hips form the joint between our trunk and our lower extremities.

Problems with our hips signify fear of change. There may be deep feelings about the need for change, but we are still experiencing a fear of it.

This can lead to an over-stimulation and hipbone growth, as found in some teenagers.

More often it shows itself as a fear of change, as when an elderly person breaks a hip. There is something that we are not being ‘hip’ about.

If we are experiencing difficulty with our right hip, then the change we are called to make is in our career.

If we are experiencing difficulty in our left hip, then the change we are called to make is in relationship.
