The face is the anterior part of the head. The face signifies ‘facing’ things rather than denying them or deceiving ourselves
Our face shows the world how we feel about ourselves as we interface with others.
It reflects the image we display to the world, indicating how we deal with and confront issues, such as in a ‘face-off’ or confrontation.
Problems with our face mean that there is something that we feel we can’t face or that we feel we have ‘lost face’ through embarrassment or shame.
