Boils are a localized inflammation of the subcutaneous tissue of the skin. They occur most commonly as a result of infection.
Boils represent something we are ‘boiling’ about; something is causing us extreme stress.
Our boil is reflective of self-attack and we are trying to keep the issue localized and confined so that we can keep our life the way that it was.
We are trying to heal something, while simultaneously denying and repressing the issue.
The area of the body that is affected can give us more insight into the specific issue involved.
